PHILOSOPHY
Our
philosophy at The Little School Summer Enrichment Program is to create a climate
of learning and fun which will further the development of each child socially,
physically and creatively. We strive to help each child to adjust easily, and
to strengthen values of cooperation and have a positive group experience. In
everything we do, we promote each childs positive self-image through a variety
of age-appropriate physical and creative activities. These objectives are
pursued in a low-key and spirited way. Our concern is always for The Little
School child.
Our
professionally qualified staff is committed to encouraging the intellectual,
social, physical and emotional growth of our campers. Our staff possesses a
diversity of interest and talents, which they share with the children. Many of
our teachers have earned advanced degrees. Executive Director
Deborah Fine has an extensive and impressive background in preschool and
childcare.

7:30 a.m. 6:00 p.m. Full Day with Breakfast Club and Extended Day

MEALS-
Parents
provide a peanut free lunch. The Little School provides snack
POOL-
All
campers need to be members of the Scarsdale Pool
CLASS Size -

children; each group is led by a Head Teacher and two Teacher Assistants
ADMISSION-
Admission is based on the following criteria:
1. Currently
enrolled Little School Children
2. Incoming
Little School Children
3. Children
from the Scarsdale Community beginning 2/26/07 on a first come, first served
basis
ALL CAMPERS MUST BE TOILET TRAINED BY THE START OF THE PROGRAM
