Meet the Executive Director

Deborah Fine

Debbie began her career at KBLS in July 2004.  She was Director of the Selma Maisel Nursery School at Temple Sholom in Greenwich from 1999-2004. Prior to her directorship in Greenwich, Debbie taught 2’s, 3’s, 4’s and kindergarten classes in Westport and Stamford.

Originally from Forest Hills, New York, Debbie holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Elementary Education from Queens College.  She also earned her Director’s Credential in Early Childhood Care and Education from the National Child Care Association.

Debbie lives in Wilton, Connecticut with her husband, Doug.  They have two daughters.

Debbie says, “It is a privilege and honor to serve the Scarsdale community.  My greatest joy is welcoming the children in the morning as they happily go off to their classrooms, ready to begin a wonderful day.”
