Parents involve staff and staff involve parents in the development and use of Individual Education Plans (IEP) designed to meet the child's needs.
Prior to the start of school, teachers meet one to one with all parents of children with special needs. At this meeting, parents and teachers discuss the child's IEP and itinerants for the year. Itinerants are welcome and encouraged to attend this late August meeting.
As with all parents, parents of special needs children are offered an opportunity for additional Parent-Teacher Conferences during the year.
