Winter Enrichment Programs at Kids’ B.A.S.E.
Mondays - Kids r’ Cookin
New Class
Chocolate,
Chocolate - Calling all chocolate lovers! This class if for those of us who
can’t get enough chocolate. A sneak preview of the recipes the children will
prepare include chocolate swirl bread, triple chocolate cups, chocolate cookies
and much more.

Mondays - Guitar Lessons with Scarsdale Strings
New Class
This class
is for children in grades 2nd - 5th. So you want to be a rock star! Scarsdale
Strings is
excited to
bring introductory guitar instruction to Kids’ B.A.S.E. We will enable your
child to develop musical listening skills, discover rhythm and beat trough
movement and be able to play some classics. Instrument and book are provided
for use during this class. The session will conclude with an in class
performance. A $50 fee applies for this class, payable upon registration.

Tuesdays-KBLS “Glee” with Gigi Schwartzman
Children
will perform in semi-staged Broadway and Classical Musical Numbers as seen on
televisions’ GLEE. Vocal and theatre warm-ups will be part of the mix along
with solo and choral vocal concepts. Gigi is currently teaching and coaching
young singers. Take advantage of her expertise and join in the fun!

Wednesdays - LEGO - Fun with Brick Builders
LEGO-building blocks gives you a chance to build your own world and develop a
range of intellectual, physical and social skills at the same time. Examples of
weekly themes include deep blue sea, the wild blue yonder, emergency crews,
police and fire, and more. Each week involves a specific building activity and
then lots of time for free play. Children get to take home the models they build
every other week.

Thursdays - Beading for Boys and Girls
Each week
students will create at least one new beaded accessory to take home. Students
are introduced to various stringing materials and different techniques to
provide quality pieces using tons of beads, charms, and pendants. Beginner and
experienced students are welcome.

Thursdays - Violin Lessons with Scarsdale Strings
New Class
Scarsdale
Strings is excited to bring violin instruction to Kids’ B.A.S.E. This program is
designed to directly connect to the music program in the Scarsdale Schools.
They will enable your child to develop musical listening skills, discover rhythm
and beat through movement and be able to play classics such as Twinkle, Twinkle
Little Star. The session will conclude with a class performance. This class is
for children in grades K-2nd.
A $50 fee applies for this class, payable upon registration.

Fridays - Hip Hop Dance with Theo Philip
Children
will learn modified dance combinations as seen on MTV and VH1 Music Videos.
Each class includes a basic warm up and a stretching segment.
